How To Impress A Girl On A First Date

So you want to learn how to impress a girl on a first date but don’t know how?

Like I always say, first impressions count. In fact, first impressions are so important that if you blow it, chances are she’ll never, ever want to see you again! So when it comes to first impressions, there are a few basic rules that you must follow if you want to make sure she goes home thinking about you.

But look, I’m not going go over the stuff you probably already know…

I’m not going to say you have to groom yourself well. I’m not going to say you have to wear nice, well-fitting clothes, and I’m not going to say that you need to wear cologne (but not too much cologne). You’re a smart enough guy to know all of this already. But I am going to go over some  things that you might not know!

1.) Chill Out.

Make a good first impressionWhat a lot of men do is this: they start to panic. Guys that panic tend to fidget, look around aimlessly, and talk faster than a homeless dude on crack.

So what you need to do is take a huge breath and relax. If you want to make a solid first impression on this first date, you’re going to have to let her know that she isn’t getting to you. So look calm. There are several ways you can convey this.

For one, sit back in your chair. Don’t lean in. If you lean in, you’ll put your date on edge and it will make you seem needy.

Second, don’t talk too quickly. Guys that talk too quickly just look nervous, and when you’re nervous, you don’t look like a confident alpha male.

Third, don’t convey so much interest! It’s all about being a chill, easy-going, and almost indifferent guy. High quality men that are attractive never have to convey interest in a woman to successfully attract her. If you really want to impress her, then you have to make sure that you don’t look too impressed. Sounds weird, but it’s true.

2.) Touch Her.

Yes, if you really want to impress your date, then you have to flirt with her. You have to show her that you’re in touch with your sexual side a little, but this doesn’t mean you have to turn into a huge creep and touch her constantly.

You need to escalate the touching slowly. Make sure you start off with some non-sexual touching. As in, touch her elbow. Playfully nudge her. Touch her with the back of your hand. Remember, she wants to be touched properly.

3.) First Impressions Are All About Talking

This is probably the hardest part… and some guys are just naturally blessed with the ability to chat a girl up and make her interested in you. That means talking about stuff that she cares about, not about your favourite football player or hockey player (that is, of course, she’s genuinely interested in that stuff).

That also doesn’t mean you need to talk about makeup either (unless you’re gay… not that there’s anything wrong with that). But you’ll want to talk about things that make women tick. Here are a list of subjects you should be talking about:

  • Relationships
  • TV Shows
  • Gossip
  • Celebrities
  • Travel
  • Astrology
  • Magic

Sorry. No robots, poo, burping, etc. Believe it or not, these topics are not turn ons and not good for first impressions!

So there you have it… these are some of the best ways to make a great first impression on a first date with that hot girl you really want!
